Negativity and selfishness gets great publicity in our social networking, indirect-contact society. You’d be led to believe the world’s running low on good people and that no one cares for or respects one another anymore. Their only concerns are themselves; and when they’re in need, no one is willing to lend them a hand without reward.
This is not the case. Kind, caring, selflessly-generous people still exist. F-man is a shining example.
One half of hip-hop duo Sick Daze, F-man’s lyrics don’t skimp on details. On record and in interviews the Murder Mitten Entertainment artist from Kalamazoo, MI is not afraid to admit his life, and the lives of those around him, have seen their share of challenges. F-Man is out to prove following your dreams can lead to brighter days.
Throughout their album Chasing Stars F-man’s rhymes are as well-written and skillfully delivered as they are intimate and personal. While good at what he does, he’s also a good person and one who believes in helping others.
I asked F-man to tell me about a time when he did something nice for someone he didn’t know. Here’s what he shared.
“A few years ago there was an elderly women that came to my door and asked if I would help her move her belongings in her apartment to another apartment.
Of course I said yes without question because I thought to myself, what if it was me asking the same thing?
There are certain types of people in life, and I’ve always been one to try to help when I can. This world, over time, has lost its sense of love towards other people, towards the planet and its creations. Generations have been desensitized, arrogant, and lost their way.
Now just think if everyone was the same way as me. This world could finally have peace and love.”
